Two BIG (albeit positive) news to announce

I received two BIG (albeit positive) news yesterday from CCAD yesterday. I got final approval for taking a sabbatical in Fall 2014. I will utilize this time to enhance my portfolio, work on video freelance opportunities, re-sharpen my teaching skills with reeducating myself with online tutorials on design and technological advances, and create new complete video projects. The second big news was that I (finally) received my first ever grant for a 2014 Faculty Development Grant for $2,580 to go to a Maine Workshop for learning how to use our department’s newly purchased $23,000 Red Scarlet camera. This will be in last October for one week. Also, my new video reel/ demo reel is also up at the bottom of my newly redesigned website: www.erichoman.com. Happy Good Friday! –Eric
